You can permanently delete your PaperClear account and associated app data from Settings in the app. PaperClear is provided by Khan Labs.
Before you delete
Account deletion cannot be undone. Export any information you want to keep using the data export control in PaperClear Settings.
Deleting your account or uninstalling PaperClear does not cancel an Apple subscription. To stop renewal, manage your Apple subscriptions separately.
Delete from the app
- Open PaperClear and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Settings and tap Delete my account.
- Review the confirmation, then tap Delete.
- Complete any sign-in verification requested. For Sign in with Apple, this may be needed to revoke authorization.
- Wait for deletion to finish. PaperClear signs you out when it completes.
If deletion is interrupted or an error appears, sign in again and retry, or contact us using the email below.
What is deleted
Account deletion removes your app data and authentication records, including your documents, extracted text, questions, AI explanations, reminders and profile. Local pending uploads are cleared as part of the in-app deletion flow.
Records that may remain
A minimal deletion marker is kept to prevent delayed processing from restoring deleted data. Service providers may retain operational or legally required records under their policies. See the privacy policy for more information about processing and retention.
Cannot access your account?
Email Khan Labs to request account deletion assistance. Include the email address associated with your PaperClear account and your sign-in method so we can help identify it. We may need to verify account ownership before handling your request.

Please do not send passwords, verification codes, payment details or private documents. Sending an email opens a support request; it does not immediately delete your account.
